2004's Laws of Attraction

First off let me just say I was searching for something completely different when I came across this movie starring Pierce Bronsnan and Julianne Moore as two divorce lawyers at the opposite ends who fall in love, I gave this one a chance much due to the pull of the two main leads. I also like the quirky performance of the lady who played Julianne's mom in the movie, although strangely enough her name is missing on the imdb page.

This is as like many other movie this genre light fluffy humor at best. The leads are old hands at playing roles like this so they fit into the roles quite perfectly and a chuckle or two did escape as I watched Julliane Moore's neurotic performance as the uptight lawyer Audrey Woods.While this is no When Harry Met Sally, the pace and plot is just great for a slow Saturday afternoon or a lonely Friday evening ...
