For one of our most faithful fan, Angel, I decided to make a comeback.... hope my fellow 2 other reviewers would too, anyway, I havent seen a lot of good movies lately which warrant me to write....but Warlords does seem quite good so I decided to give it a go and I am glad I did
I caught this war movie yesterday, and I enjoyed it. Happenned in 1870's when it's an upheaval in China, where millions of lives lost during the war. Jet Li's character described the period as when dying is easy, but living much harder. This movie was quite well made where the focus is very much in the story rather than the styles, unlike Heroes...
I would say all the 3 leads gave commendable performance. The 3 brothers who learned the importance of brotherhood in the times of war was told from the eyes of the 3rd brother Takeshi Kaneshiro. The war scene was very well made to, kudos to director Peter Chan who brought us Perhaps Love last year.I would urge people to watch it to see how bad war really is.
